I sit at the collision point of classic European dramaturgy and production-ready artificial intelligence. As a German Emmy-winning showrunner and head writer of 685 episodes of the hit adaptation Verliebt in Berlin, I build stories engineered to hold an audience.
My original material and adaptations have been optioned by international partners including Fremantle, Myriad Pictures, and Rainmaker Content. Over three decades of development across Europe and the US, I have pitched and collaborated with top showrunners and creators including Frank Spotnitz, Adi Hasak, Daniel Cerone, Dawn Prestwich, and Nicole Yorkin, while securing screen rights to non-fiction bestsellers and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism. As an industry evaluator, I serve on juries for the International Emmys, the German Television Academy, BlueCat, and the Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award.
Today, I direct that architectural rigor into both screen development and next-generation narrative tech. Through mentorship at Netflix’s Accelerator and Incubator Labs (via Tatino Films), I train senior writers to build high-concept television series. Concurrently, as Founder and AI Architect at The Narrative Lab, I design, red-team, and stress-test autonomous LLM characters—replacing generic conversational bots with characters driven by genuine goal, truth, and need.
