Protection for writers

September 8, 2019

Brandon BLAKE from filmandtvlaw.com explains in his short piece (https://filmtvlaw.com/blog/2019/9/4/protecting-tv-series-rights) what a writer can do to protect their material before sending it out to production companies or studios. While I am not a big fan of involving a law firm like his because of the usually hefty price tag, I fully agree with him that Copyright protection is much more powerful than a WGAW registration. It only costs som $20 more but it is worth it.
